Background:

 

VSF Sakhi has been doing this for 6 years. This tradition simply started in 2013 with few Sakhi’s gathering and donating 20 blankets to Project Linus . Now It has grown to making 75 blankets and in two locations from past few years. 

 

Let’s all come together once again and continue this holiday tradition and this year when need is more than ever!!

 

Event Description:

 

Make a fleece no-sew blanket and donate it to Project Linus San Jose(Bay area chapter of a National Non Profit Organization Linus) that collects and distributes blankets to hospitals etc.

 

Blanket Making Details: 

 

There are many styles to make these blankets. One of the most popular and simple styles is a single-layer and no-sew fleece blanket. But feel free to be creative and opt for any style.

Blanket Buying Details:

 

• Printed fleece like floral, animals, sports etc to be fun for Kids (NO plain colors, please)

• 1 Blanket - 1.5 or 2 yards of fleece material
